Scriveiner Classic British Racing Tintenroller, Grün

Bought this to replace a defunct fountain pen I really wanted to rescue but couldn’t. Ooh the Scriveiner is lovely. It’s a fab weight in the hand, looks gorgeous in my racing green and it yums up my posh inks from Cult Pens. Makes me want to write even more.

Recently I purchased my first Scriveiner pen, of which it's heavenly strokes were short-lived due to an unforeseen defect I presume was acquired through shipment. Thanks to the swift promptness of Jul and their unparalleled customer service, the problem was remedied within two shakes of a lambs tail. Hands down the best customer service I can remember. If only the rest of the world could conduct business and operate with such high caliber, what a wonderful world it would be. Cheers!

Quite elegant

I have a couple of fountain pens made by Scriveiner and this rollerball.The color of this "Racing Green Rollerball" is really a beautiful green. I would call it an emerald green and the color really depends on the angle of the light.The rollerball itself is very smooth, and I love writing with it. It's great for writing notes and letters. Being left-handed, you know being in my right mind, a lot of pens have ink that will smudge. I have not seen this ink do that, but I'm really careful, so it may just be me.This pen is very comfortable to write with. It has a good weight to it. For a quality pen, this one is worth it. I think you should get two of them, I am probably going to get at least that many more. Sometimes if somebody admires a pen that I have, I will just give it to them. It's a great surprise.

Bought this for our son for Christmas because he is a lover of pens, and he seems to really like it. After checking it out when it came, I decided to order one for myself too. I have a smaller hand and don't like pends that are too heavy or with over-large barrels. This seems to work well for me as well a sfor our (adult) son. The deep green is also a cool shade-very British looking! Only thing I might wish were a bit different--it's definitely a medium, not fine point.
